Dear members of the National Council,

I want to thank you for taking the trouble in coming to Miami to demonstrate your support and commitment to this great organization. On behalf of the newly elected Executive Committee I like to thank you for your support and confidence you placed in us by electing us to lead this community. We accept this great honor with at most humility.

Today I am very much encouraged and hopeful about the community than ever before. Just a look around here at the mix of the NC members tells us a different story than it did a few years ago. This great organization is now being represented by a vast majority of young adults. We are getting very close to the transition where the younger generation is getting prepared and ready to take on the reins of KCCNA.

I want to thank Mr. George Puthukulam and his team members, Jifi Pachikara, Jude Kattapuram, Manoj Thanath and Jerrin Luka for their achievements. I want to wish them the best of luck and am looking forward to working with them. I want to thank the previous EC under the leadership of Mr. Sunny Kottoor who did a terrific job during their term in keeping the organization alive and setting several useful programs in motion for us to continue to work on.

I congratulate and thank my colleagues Mr. Luke Malika, Exc.VP from New York, Sunil Madhavapallil Gen Secretary from Tampa, Jose Chazhikatt Jt. Secretary from Detroit and Jose Pulickathottiyil Treasurer from Houston for joining me in this journey. I also congratulate the newly elected RVPs,

1. Alexander Kochupurackal (Chicago)
2. Biju Valiyakallumkal (NY)
3. Bobby Kulangara (Tampa)
4. Bobby kandathil (Houston)
5. Soman Kottoor (Arizona)
6. Joy Chemmalakuzhi (Ohio)
7. Benny kallelumannil (Philadelphia)
8. Joahn Thachet (Canada)

I welcome Jason Chackalackal from KCYLNA to the EC board, Rev Fr. Thomas Mulavanal as the Spiritual Director and Kishore Vattaparamil and Alex Tharayil as the Auditors of KCCNA.

I thank Mr. Cyriac Vettuparapuram the chief Election commissioner and his team for conducting the election in fairness. I also thank the hoisting unit of Central Florida under the leadership of Robin Kalladanthy for making all the necessary arrangements.

We have a very busy agenda for the next two years. We came in with a slogan    “A call to wake up”. With your support and cooperation, I am very confident that we will energize KCCNA for the next two years. Following are some of our key activities we put forth during our campaign and I promise that we will deliver what we promise with your help;

  1. Improve communication via email, website and Knanaya Times
  2. Promote KCYLNA activities
  3. Obtain national database
  4. Establish Knanaya Catholic Women Associaiton (KCWA)
  5. Organize summer Olympics and Youth Festival
  6. Encourage regional activities
  7. KCCNA Convention

We will also work on our long term goals of getting ecclesisastical independence by working close with our clergy. We will review and explore the possibilities of Knanaya Globalization.

In closing, I like to leave you with an assurance that I will keep that fire in me alive for as long as it takes to get the task done. We as a team are here to serve you. We are always available to you and are open for suggestions. Please feel free to contact us through our email or by telephone.   Please do not try to reach us through other email groups since they are not  approved or recognized by KCCNA. We will soon unveil an email group that is fully endorsed by the KCCNA national council in order for us to get KCCNA updates to every one in our community directly.

Thank you all and may God bless our community.

Sincerely

George Nellamattam
KCCNA president
